Our Team

Pierce Manlangit

Cofounder, Executive Director

Pierce has experience on cultivated fish and fermentation-based media research from leading institutions like ETH Zürich, NUS, and University of Toronto. He has presented at the International Scientific Conference on Cultured Meat and co-authored the first ever scoping study of alternative proteins in the Philippines.


He was previously a technical facilitator in BlueDot Impact’s Alternative Protein Fundamentals Program. He holds an MSc in Microbiology from Radboud University.

Carmel Pascual

Cofounder, Operations Director

Carmel has experience on project management from her role at WTH Foods, a plant-based startup in the Philippines, and co-authored the scoping study of alternative proteins in the Philippines.

She is currently researching plant-based marketing strategies for Philippine supermarkets. She is completing her BSc in Food Technology at the University of the Philippines Diliman.
